Igor is a wonderful guest! We found a common language and became friends very quickly. I think that's not only because he is originally from my hometown, but also because he is cheerful and kind as a human being himself) We also have a similar sense of humor - it's captivating 😁
By the way, yes: he brought me tangerines, as he promised :D I hope we'll continue meeting from time to time on our further travels and will have a chance to hang out together not just once!) Igor, good luck and may the Force be with you! 😁
Despite the fact that I am from Vladivostok as well, at the moment I've been living in Asia for several years, so came to my hometown as a guest. I decided to stay via Couchsurfing just for fun and sent several requests. Anya does not always host guests, but I was lucky to stay at her place for two nights.
Everything was just really "homy": we chatted a lot, discussed different things, discovered that we have mutual friends – and generally felt like we have known each other for years and have been friends for a long time.
I want to say a big thank you for the hospitality, warm atmosphere, comfortable stay and especially for our intellectual conversations about literature — it was literally amazing 😁
Anya, I wish you that all your dreams come true and that you can travel as much as you want. See you next time somewhere on Earth!
