Alexandr accepted my request but when we arrived he was out of town and we were hosted by his flatmate Roman.
Alexey and Sasha are really amazing. They stayed in our home for few days and it was really funny time. With them in first day I fel like they are very good my friends. Hope to meet somewhere again.
Roman hosted us in Yerevan for three nights, and I can say for sure that we had a good time there. I'm thankful to Roman for his hospitality.

Alex is my first host on public travel. He offered me to stay his place. I was really enjoyed time with him. Shared many interesting stories around China, Russia and Korea. Also cooked delicious meal for me at breakfast. His place is clean and neat. Hope I can meet him near future in SH again or Korea.
YongJeon was a good guest, unfortunately we didn't hang out, but it's fine. He's very knowledgeable, and organized person, also we had some interesting things to discuss. Besides that I'm very thankful for his little gift from Korea and can recommend Yong Jeon as a good cs-er and if you have a chance to host him- do it!

It was a good experience to host Konstantin. He has a very interesting background and many interesting things to tell. We also went to visit a couple of parks and had a good dinner together. He's a good surfer and if you have an opportunity to host or to stay with him - don't miss it!

Dmitry stayed at my place for several days and it was fun. We visited a few places, and been to a concert. He's very polite has something to recommend and I surely can recommend him as a guest.
I stayed with Alexey for just one night,but he and his girlfriend were very friendly and welcoming. Although we didn't spend much time hanging out, I really enjoyed talking to them, it's always nice to speak to people from your country who are living abroad, and they also shared some information about interesting spots I could see in Shanghai and it was really helpful!

I stayed only one night with Alexey and his girlfriend. Both of them are very eas-going and friendly, we had a nice chat about different topics. Alexey picked me up from subway station upon my arrival. Thank you for your hospitality and feel free to contact me for any help )))

Thanks a lot Alex for hosting.. One day I arrived late at home and he has left the door open and let me in thanks for not kicking me out😂😂 he also has a very nice girlfriend I want to thanks both.. We walked together and had vey pleasant talks, I get some informations from them that I didn't know before.. I highly recommend everyone to meet him and if you have the chance don't miss it !

Candice was more like an emergency surfer. She spent only one night so I can't say much about her. I wish she could stay a bit longer.
I stayed in Alex's house for only one night, but I can tell he is a really nice person. He speaks a good Chinese and continues to improve it. If having chance, go and meet Alex!

I got a lucky chance to stay with Alexey for two nights. He was so good to me. I didn't feel like I was a guest, but a old friend. We strolled around Shanghai,and his Chinese is so great . Very Recommended .
it's my first time hosting a Chinese in China! Fitch is a humorous and polite guest. it also worth mentioning that he can think outside the box what is rarely seen among the majority of Chinese. I took him to find of my favorite places in Shanghai, and also it was fun to try to sneak into Xitang.
Fitch is absolutely not messy and left the couch even nicer!

I stayed with Alexey for a few days in Shanghai . First day Alexey showed me the city and told many interesting things about life in it. He also suggested some really interesting places in Shanghai, which I visited next day . On the day of departure, I was not able to get out of city, and Alexey allowed to stay one more day, although he already had other guests that day. Thank you very much for hospitality, Alexey!

Alex was vey friendly and easygoing. He took Garrett and I around his quiet neighborhood, located 30 minutes from the city center. His apartment was peaceful and clean. We enjoyed delicious meals from the local restaurants and street vendors. Over a few beers, and conversations about the world, we played a few rounds of Jenga. Alex is willing to give his guest space or provide the entertainment. He is straight to the point but he provides thoughtful and honest responses. Be prepared to pick up your pace because he's a fast walker with long strides. Thanks again Alex!
I'd stay with Alex some days and it was great. Alex was helping me with everything, he'd show me best places to eat around and told me about interesting places in Shanghai. We'd go out some times and we had a good time. See you one day my friend :)
Kamil was a great guest! I can say that I really enjoyed hosting him, I even made an exception for him so he stayed for more than a week. We went out, drank almost every day and spoke Russian. His Russian is quite good, and it's always much more interesting to talk to a foreigner if he speaks your native language on a decent level. I helped him with the Chinese and tried to help a little bit to find a job in Shanghai. Good luck in your trip!
Alex was an amazing host. Knowledgeable and willing to talk and share some experiences from China as He is here longer than I do. I know that I wasn't the best guest ever and I hope you can forgive me. I shared some meals with Alex, he gave me lots of tips about Shanghai and told some interesting facts about expats community here. Well. I you wanna come and visit my town, anytime. And who knows, maybe see you again in Shanghai one day. Take care.
Agnieszka stayed in my apartment for two nights, she's a very talkative and positive person! We didn't go out a lot but it was fun to go for a feet massage with really annoying locals who literally forced us to take photos with them but in the end they have paid for us! Agnieszka also helped me a lot with the household. come again! Haha!
Ohh I had an amazing experience with Alex. He's really flexible and friendly! Easy going with my stay in his flat, he helped me a lot with infos, tips and explanations! He's really deep with locals so he introduce me in facts, traditions and mentality of the people. We ate and drunk together talking a lot about many thinks. Without him I would miss a lot! Nicola was a very interesting surfer, he already has an impressive travel list and his plans are even greater. He's very calm, smart and stress - free guest. I let him stay in my place for more days than he requested without hesitating. We visited only a few places together, because I wasn't free all the time. I also tried to help him to get the info for his trip as much as I could. Good luck, Nico!
Alexey is a perfectly crazy CS with whom we stayed for two nights. He not only showed us around, gave us to try some interesting Chinese food, but he also gave us many useful travel tips and helped a lot. Thank you so much!
Veronika and her friend Ira stayed at my place for a couple of nights. They are really nice respectful and intelligent surfers. It was a good experience hosting them, we had a lot of conversations about different cusines, travelling, languages and other topics. I took them to Yangze river, hopefully they liked it, gave some advises for their next trip. good luck!
PS they have left the room even more neat than it was before they came, and haven't made any inconvenience, so if they ask you one day for a couch, there's no reason to hesitate.
Порой в пути бывают такие совпадения, которые очень приятно тебя удивляют. Вот с Лешей так и произошло. Совершенно случайно наткнулся на его профиль и в итоге в нужный момент смог остановиться у него и его замечательной девушки Саши.
Леша и Саша замечательные собеседники. Веселые, харизматичные, активные, общительные, образованные, открытые и искренние. Мне безумно понравилось у них гостить. Очень не хотелось уезжать. Хотелось забрать ребят с собой в рюкзаке и путешествовать вместе с ними дальше. Уж очень очень они классные.
Ну и пару слов по делу. Леша мне очень помог с советами по путешествию по Китаю и консультациями по выбору туристического снаряжения для Юго-Восточной Азии. Саша помогла с поиском работы моделью в Китае. Дала много классных контактов и очень интересно описывала свои впечатления после 3 месяцев жизни в Китае.
В общем можно много всего еще описать об этих замечательных ребятах, но читать все будет слишком сложно. Поэтому скажу вам так. Если вы путешествуете по Китаю и устали от азиатской культуры и людей, которые вас не могут понять в силу своих культурных и исторических процессов (написал, как для научной статьи), если вы соскучились по открытой и глубокой русской душе - то вам срочно нужно написать этим двум веселым лаоваям, живущем в самом сердце Шанхая. Ностальгию и желание остаться у них надолго гарантирую.
I hosted Alex in Shanghai for 3 nights spontaneously, he is an excellent guest and has a lot of fascinating stories to tell. He is totally easy going, trustworthy, independent and respectful. I would absolutely recommend to host him, if you have a chance to meet this intelligent, calm and neat couchsurfer - do it!
One thing worth mentioning - He is an impressive chef! Thanks so much for the enticing dinners you cook at my tiny apartment and your profound music selection. Also, the sense of humour from Alex is hilarious!

Genie was a great host, when I just moved to Shanghai. She was very welcoming and kind, a good teller and a good listener. We had a bunch of things to talk about. She also lent me her bf's bicycle to ride around Shanghai.
Genie is memorable person, and inspired by these memories I'm writing this reference now one year after. (sorry for a short delay)
Alex is a fun, open minded guy who I enjoyed hosting. After a bit of a mix up with my previous surfers, Alex managed to get the key to my apartment. I trusted him with the keys in my absence and he validated my trust. We spent a lot of time walking around Shanghai (getting lost!), cooking, drinking, eating and playing games! He will probably be in Shanghai for a while, so we will catch up again. I would recommend hosting this tall, smart and funny Russian guy!
Был со своей девушкой пару дней у меня в гостях. Веселая пара и очень приятные люди. Пригласил их к себе и на обратном пути из Грузии.
Yusup is not an ordinary host. He gave us much more than we expected. After accepting my request he said that we shouldn't care about anything. And that was true! He rode us around Grozny on his Mercedes, shown us all the interesting places in the city and around, told us a lot about Chechen history, cuisine and customs. He made everything to make us feel as the desired guests. Someday we will visit him again and go to Itum- kala and visit chechen wedding.
We have to some extent... THE HITCHER !!!
Sometimes from random passengers, can be found such WISDOM, which can not be found in books or anywhere - ever.
And, in general, there is little to believe in chance, because they are just... DO NOT GET !!!
Surprisingly, people can make each other nice company
on the road, following the separate ways ... In a conversation with strangers people truer, they open their hearts.
With Alex, we met in Dushanbe and spent a few days together: walking around the city, a trip to Hissar, receipt of registration and some permits. Then Alex with us went to the side of the Fan Mountains. He plans - Iskanderkul lake, and then - the Pamir Highway. Great goal!

I have met Vladimir in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, where we were hosted by Abdurahmon Sobirov. Well, i never met such person who spends just one month in year at home, the rest of the year he is on the way! it was interesting to discuss our journeys. We've been hanging a lot in and around Dushanbe and dealing with registration. I'm sure, that he's a good guy, you just need to meet him once
С Алексеем у нас получилось очень интересное знакомство: Он подобрал меня и моего друга, когда я ехал автостопом в Волгоград =) Так у нас получилась кауч встреча в машине =) Это был один из лучших автостопов в моей жизни =) Я спал на надувной кровати, которая распологалась прямо в фургоне =) Слушал интересные истории. А еще мы даже остнавливались на пикник =) Огромное тебе спасибо! Мир состоит из таких добрых людей как ты =)

We were standing on the highway and the car caught hitchhiking in Volgograd.
Alex just went out there and threw us. It was a small meeting of the Cs in the car of his father.
He told many interesting stories about his hitchhiking on China and other countries, said the flights to deltoplane and drove us to the right place.

Alex is a funny, laid-back guy, we were friends in Chongqing before I moved to Kunming and it was great to host him here during his last days in China. He taught me some colorful Russian and put onions in a few otherwise delicious dishes, and I wish him the best of luck battling wolves and gypsy witches in the frozen tundra.
Kasey was my last host in China, my last destination in my trip. Kasey is a kind host, she likes to cook a lot with a lot of goat cheese, but she doesn't like annoying honking cab drivers. Her roommates and roommates' surfers are awesome as well!

I was his first host, and he hosted me well. Don't believe him, if he would say that his house is very unconvinient! He lives in a mansion not far from the main road. Yang Li and his family members are very friendly and kind. They did everything to make me feel as a welcome guest, but i didn't have enough time to know them better, but i'm pretty sure, that his next guests also will enjoy being hosted there

Alex 1.95m tall! he is so kind, a bit quiet,and he is a good-natured and adventurous person. He made me know how easy it is to travel . And he really knows his way around the kitchen so be sure to pick his brain about that.:).

I'm very grateful to Martin for his emergency host in a rainy night. That was pretty kind, but unfortunately I've spent just one night in his nice flat and there was no time to talk with each other, but we can meet in cq once more and have more conversations.
Alexey hosted me in SPb just for a few days, but it was really great time! He lives in a typical Peterburg's pedant- clean apartment, that makes a good impression. Unfortunately it were working- days and we couldn't go out somewhere with Alexey.
Being hosted by Abdurahmon was the best expierience of hospitality during my journey in Central Asia. Thank Abdurahmon Tajikistan become one of my favourite countries. He is very intellegent and calm person. He has a big family. Besides him i enjoyed communicating with his father and younger brother. Abdurahmon showed me and other cs-er Vladimir around Dushanbe and we went to Hissar as well. If someone wants to get an unfrogetable time and expierence - get aquinted with Abdurahmon
I like her! Isidora has a huge variety of interests and expierences, so there are always a lot of topics to discuss or to share. She can charge everyone with her positive energy. It's a pleasure to know Isidora, and i'm pretty sure, that others will share my opinion.
