I dodn't hosted Daniel in Ulan Ude, but he stayed in my friend's place. Anyway, it was enought time to understanв that Daniel is a smart and interesting guy. I especially respect his knowledge of several languages. Also, he was prepared to discover our city, and I also liked this readiness. Have a safe trip in Mongolia!
While Igor didn't host me in Ulan-Ude, he found a friend of his for me to stay with (shoutout to Alex!). We met several times in the city for beer and sightseeing. Igor is an awesome, friendly and intelligent guy with loads of knowledge about his hometown (and many parts of the world overall). As he also knows everything about Buddhism, make sure to visit one of the big temples in town with him to get an introduction to buddhist culture :)
