Igor showed me around Ulan-Ude for a couple days when I visited in March. He was a great help, giving me advice on what to do when I was there, introducing me to his friends, and guiding me on a walking tour of the city. Getting his insight on Russia culture and the unique qualities of the Buryat Republic made my trip better than I could've done without him, and I highly recommend anyone on CS crossing paths with him, one way or another.
