I stayed at house Ray in Manila, waiting for the Chinese visa. We walked in the evening on club street. Ray knows a lot of interesting things about Manila. Unfortunately that I could not spend a lot of time with Ray because I was busy preparing documents for the Chinese Embassy. Thanks for your hospitality!
Daria came earlier than expected. 2 weeks in advance and I hosted her along with another guest at my place in the same time. She is here for a visa process and stayed at my place for a couple days.
She have a very very small budget and she travel mostly by walking and hitchhiking. She doesn't take transportation. She don't eat outside and only cook at home. Her tight budget means her missing out and not joining on some of my hangout and sightseeing plans with my other guest.
She run into some issue with the embassy and manage to sort it out. She is an independent backpacker and had Avery strong opinion on spending as less as possible on a single day basis.
Overall an okay experience and glad we get to spend some time walking around the drinking street.
