Marat sent me an open request and i didn't look for a host in Astrakhan anymore. And i'm very glad about it! He showed some places in the city including Kremlin, went to the city island on bikes (and stuck there for a while but it's another story ;), together with his friend Irina we went to the tour to see the lotuses and spent great and funny evening eating potato pancakes with watermelon. Marat even gave me vobla (Caspian roach) he salted himself. And took some photos of me as he is a photographer. Marat, thanks a lot! You're always welcome to Kaliningrad!
